Commercial Trailer Insurance
The NTTA recommend that all commercial trailers should be fitted with a hitchlock and wheelclamp. The RHA recommends that king pin locks are fitted on any unattended trailer.
Leisure Trailer Insurance It is recommend by the NTTA, HTA & TSA that all trailers should be fitted with a hitchlock and wheelclamp.
Vehicle Insurance
Single Axle Caravans must be fitted with a hitchlock and wheelclamp. Twin Axle Caravans must be fitted with a hitchlock and two wheelclamps. The NCC recommend that as well as hitchlocks and wheelclamps hitch & security posts should be used when leaving vehicles parked on driveways. The Caravan Club insurance states that all security aids must be accreditation recognised.
Car insurance can be discounted with the use of steering wheel locks and wheelclamps.
